Shane moved to Grande Prairie in 1979 when his father Dave Fraser purchased Adam Crane Service. He started rigging on cranes in the summers during high school and worked with Rob Cloutier, Rick Carey and Jim Meeres. When he completed high school he enrolled at NAIT for a Mobile Crane Operator apprenticeship. Shane became a journeyman crane operator in 1995 and worked out of Grande Prairie as a taxi crane operator throughout the oilfield. In 2005 he moved to Fort St. John, BC, to manage a branch for Sterling Crane. In 2010 he moved back to Grande Prairie to take over as General Manager for Arctic Crane Service Ltd. In his free time Shane enjoys fishing, racing chariots and chuckwagons and spending time with his family.
